Motor starting and control resistors

The resistors are connected in a secondary circuit of wound rotor motors, an armature circuit of DC motors, and primary circuit of a squirrel-cage induction motor. Changing resistance by a controller or magnetic contactors, starting current can be controlled and smooth acceleration characteristics can be achieved. The application are for almost all industries such as motor speed control of cranes and motor starting, such as, conveyors, pumps, and crushers and many others.
